1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WatchDiff ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

WatchDiff is a webpage monitoring service that detects changes on websites and notifies users. The Service includes:

• Automated text-based webpage monitoring and change detection
• Visual monitoring via screenshot-based comparison
• AI-powered change classification and summaries
• Email alerts when monitored pages change
• Discord and webhook notifications
• CSS selector-based content targeting
• Focus area selection for visual monitoring
• Change history with diff visualization

3. User Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to monitor pages you do not have permission to access
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the monitoring infrastructure
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers

5. Pricing and Payments

WatchDiff offers four subscription tiers. Payments are processed through Stripe. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month (or year, if annual billing is selected). Annual billing is available at a 20% discount. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.

• Free: Up to 5 monitors, daily checks, 7-day history
• Starter ($9/mo): Up to 20 monitors, 15-minute checks, 30-day history, AI summaries, visual monitoring, up to 3 webhooks
• Pro ($29/mo): Up to 100 monitors, 5-minute checks, 90-day history, AI summaries, visual monitoring, up to 10 webhooks
• Business ($79/mo): Up to 500 monitors, 1-minute checks, 365-day history, AI summaries, visual monitoring, unlimited webhooks, dedicated support

6. Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with a paid subscription, you may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. Refunds are not available after the 7-day window or for renewal charges. To request a refund, contact us at hello@watchdiff.com.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data and monitoring history while your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@watchdiff.com.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Brazil.
